We are proud to announce that we have received accreditation from Jain University (Kochi) for B.Voc. Health Care specialised in Optometry within the state of Kerala. Our students have the opportunity to explore this degree program with our partner M/s. Jain University.

We aim to provide students with result-oriented education that extends beyond theories and conceptual understanding to include the practical applications and obtain hands-on experience in their chosen field of study. Dr. Chandrakanth K.S served as a Senior Consultant at Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai for 12 yrs, wherein he had the rare opportunity of working with stalwarts of ophthalmology like Padmabooshan Late. Dr. G. Venkitaswamy the founder of Aravind Eye Hospital, Dr. Namperumal one of the Doyens of Retina vitreous surgery in India, Dr. Nachiar and Dr. M. Sreenivasan.
Dr. Chandrakanth K.S began practising in Calicut 21 years ago and among his various achievements; the highlights are:
– First Chief Consultant of Comtrust Eye Hospital for 1 year.
– Founder, Chairman, Chief Consultant & Eye Surgeon of Malabar Eye Hospital.
– The first Surgeon to conduct a Phako emulsification operation for Cataract in Malabar.
– The first Surgeon to conduct Lasik Laser Yag Laser treatments for Glaucoma , Cataract, Retinal Laser to treat Retinopathy due to Hyper tension and Diabetics and Fundus Fluorescein Angiography to detect Retinal diseases.
He has presented Numerous Scientific papers in State, National and International Conferences and has extensively travelled within Europe and West Asian Countries to attend and present Scientific papers.
He has performed Live surgeries at Kerala State Conference and has been a faculty in State, National and International conferences.
He is a Life member of IMA, All India Ophthalmic Association, Kerala State Society Kozhikode Ophthalmic Society and is also active in Socio Cultural activities, viz. Lions Club International, IMA etc.
